Local Seafood

Kaikoura is the home of crayfish on the east coast of the south island of New Zealand.  With clean fresh southern waters and deep oceans Kaikoura is also the home to an abundance and a large variety of seafood.  Rig, Blue Cod, Octopus, Butterfish, Moki, Crabs and Kina are collected and exported or enjoyed by locals.
